Terms and Conditions for SK THERAPY SOLUTIONS LLC DBA Therapy Story

You may browse our website and access information for personal use only.
You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content without express written permission from Therapy Story.
Appointments & Services
When you schedule an appointment, you agree to provide accurate information.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services in alignment with our practice policies.
Payments & Refund Policy
Signing up for a 15 minute discovery call with our admin team through our website is free. No payment information is collected or required for this call. Should you choose to become a paying client, you will receive intake forms, credit card authorization forms, and our payment policies.
By signing up as a paid therapy client, you authorize TherapyStory to charge any credit/debit/health account cards provided for professional services 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you do not cancel before 24 hours, you recognize that TherapyStory will charge your card as a late cancel or no show if you do not show up for the appointment. You will be billed for the full session charge. When providing credit card information you verify that your credit card information, is accurate to the best of your knowledge. If this information is incorrect or fraudulent or if your payment is declined, you understand that you will be responsible for the entire amount owed and any interest or additional costs incurred if denied. If no payment is made within 30 days, your balance will go to collections.
Payments for groups are due 30 days in advance unless otherwise agreed upon.
Refunds will not be issued for missed or canceled sessions outside of our stated cancellation policy. Refund exceptions will be made only as required by law. Please contact our office at [email protected] for details regarding scheduling changes.
User Accounts
If you create an account for accessing services or resources, you are responsible for maintaining its confidentiality.
You may not impersonate another person or provide false information.
Intellectual Property
All website content, materials, and resources are owned by Therapy Story (SK Therapy Solutions LLC) and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt our content without permission.
Medical Disclaimer

SMS Terms
Program Description
Therapy Story (SK Therapy Solutions LLC) provides appointment reminders, scheduling updates, service notifications, for initial 15 minute discovery calls, and limited practice announcements via SMS. Specifically this campaign allows users to book a discovery call and receive notifications of their upcoming appointment. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages related to your discovery call, therapy services, and communication requests.
Opt-In
Clients opt in to receive SMS communications by checking the two consent boxes on the Therapy Story online scheduling form (Discovery Call Scheduler) on our Therapy Story website. Only clients who actively check the boxes to provide explicit consent are enrolled in SMS communications. Consent is not required in order to book a discovery call appointment or therapy sessions. Clients may opt out at any time by replying "STOP."
Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary depending on your interaction with Therapy Story, typically between 1–4 messages per month.
Opt-Out
You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP".
After sending "STOP", you will receive a confirmation message,
and you will not receive further SMS communications unless you opt in again.

Rates & Carrier Liability
Message and data rates may apply for SMS messages sent to you and from you. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of Therapy Story’s control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy & Data Use
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will only be used to provide services and communications you request. Please review our Privacy Policy at

HIPAA Disclaimer
SMS text messaging is not a secure or HIPAA-compliant form of communication. Messages should be limited to scheduling concerns only. Please use email or discuss clinical matters during sessions. For urgent issues, call our office directly.
By providing your phone number and opting into SMS communication, you agree to receive messages from Therapy Story regarding appointments, reminders, updates, for initial 15 minute discovery calls, and resources such as group programs offered periodically.

Community & Communication Policy
We encourage respectful communication in all interactions, including group therapy, workshops, and online communities. Harmful, disrespectful, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from services.
HIPPA Compliance Notice
Text messages are not HIPPA compliant and do not guarantee client confidentiality or privacy. Texting therapist should be done at your own risk. Text messages should be limited to scheduling concerns only. Email is a more appropriate way to communicate clinical concerns or questions, however even email cannot guarantee client confidentiality or privacy. Any content via email or text which is not appropriate to address through those portals will be addressed during your next scheduled session. If you do not have a scheduled session, one will be made at that time to discuss further. If you wish to schedule an appointment sooner than your next appointment, one will be made at that time. It is important to understand that text messages and emails are not guaranteed to be checked regularly and for any urgent matters, phone calls are most appropriate.
Arbitration & Legal
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. By using our services, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration in New Jersey, in accordance with applicable rules. Class actions are not permitted.
